I have read it several times so that I could mull it over a bit. I really like what it says, and I appreciate the Wikipedia link. In a way I am proud to say that some of this I try daily to incorporate into my own life. The more specific part would be the notion that by attaching energy ("chi" or whatever you would like to call it) to something gives it power over you. I have worked very hard to break a lot of the chains of things in life that have held sway over me. It is HUGELY liberating to practice "The Middle Way" and not worry so much. I hope you do well with this, too, Tsykoduk. Freedom is a wonderful thing.

I’m surprised no one has commented on this post. One of the cool things about Buddhism is that it puts into words what some of us just know. It's all really common sense, You can see threads of this thought process in almost every religion. I guess that I like buddhism because it just seems to make sense to me. :)

Thanks for the kind words!

One of the cool things about Buddhism is that it puts into words what some of us just know.
